Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Lawrence Epoxy Floors and Concrete to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

When we give you a written proposal or contract for a specific job, that document controls wherever it differs from this page, because it describes your floor, your price and your schedule.

What we do

We're a flooring contractor in Lawrence, IN, and we install and repair concrete floors and floor coatings for homes and businesses in Lawrence and the cities around it. That includes epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, polished and stained concrete, overlays, sealing, surface prep and removal of old coatings. You can see the full list on our home page and read more about who we are on our About page.

The descriptions and photos on this site are general information about our work. They aren't a promise that a given system, color or finish will suit your slab, because we only know that once we've seen the concrete in person.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and done on site, and there's no pressure to book. Your price depends on things like the size of the area, the condition of the concrete, how much repair and grinding the slab needs, the coating system you choose and how easy the space is to reach.

A written estimate is good for the period stated on it. If we find hidden conditions once work starts, such as moisture coming up through the slab, old coatings that won't come off cleanly or damage under flooring we removed, we'll stop, explain what we found and agree any change in price with you before going further.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree a start date with you, but it's an estimate and not a guarantee. Coatings and concrete need the right temperature and humidity to cure properly, so we may move a date for weather, material delays or a slab that isn't ready, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give our crew access to the work area, power and water where needed, and a space cleared of vehicles and belongings. If we arrive and can't start because the area isn't ready, we may need to reschedule.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (317) 463-6468 as early as you can. Any deposit and cancellation charges are set out in your written proposal, and materials ordered for your job may not be returnable once ordered.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are listed in your written proposal or contract. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work and use any remedy Indiana law allows to collect what's owed, including reasonable collection costs where the law permits them.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We're licensed and insured, and we stand behind our workmanship with a satisfaction guarantee on every job. If something isn't right with the work we did, call us and we'll come back to look at it. Any written warranty for your specific job is stated in your contract, and coating makers' product warranties come from them, not from us.

Concrete is a natural material, so some things are outside what we can promise. Existing cracks can come back through a coating, colors and flake patterns will vary somewhat from samples and photos, and moisture or salts coming up from below a slab can affect any finish.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from using a floor before the cure time we give you, from hot tires, chemicals, dragging heavy or sharp objects, settling or movement of the slab, flooding, or repairs and products applied by someone else. Other than what we state in writing, we make no further warranties, express or implied, to the extent Indiana law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a garage or business space, lost income or the cost of storing belongings during the work.

This website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we aren't responsible for errors on it or for decisions made from general information here without an estimate from us.

Settling disagreements

If you're unhappy with anything, please tell us first. Most problems get sorted out with a phone call and a visit, and you can reach us through our Contact page.

If we can't resolve it ourselves, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. Any lawsuit will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana.

Governing law

These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes won't affect a job already under a signed contract unless we both agree in writing.

Questions about these terms are welcome. Call us at (317) 463-6468 or send a note through our Contact page, and you can expect a reply within 1 business day.
